Born in 1895 in the town of Marienburg, Valka district, Livonia province; Latvian; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1912-1937; delegate to the 17th Congress of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks); former secretary of the Sverdlovsk District Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks); Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Workers of the Low-Light Electric Industry. Head of the organizational department of the Pskov Provincial Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), secretary of the Vasileostrovsky District Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Leningrad. Lived in Leningrad (13/3 Gertsena St., Apt. 21). Arrested on 11/30/1937. By the Resolution of the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor of 01/17/1938, sentenced to capital punishment under Articles 58-8-10-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Shot on 27.01.1938.
