Born 11/13/1896 in locality. Belilovka Berdichevsky district Kyiv province; Jew; higher education, party worker; member of the CPSU (b) in 1925–1936. Graduated from the social and pedagogical department of Leningrad University. In 1931–1933, Len was the scientific secretary. Department of the Academy, in 1933–1935 deputy. Head of the Cultural Prop of the Kirov District Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Address: Leningrad, Gaza Ave., 42, apt. 57. Before his arrest, he lived in Petrozavodsk (Gyullinga St., 10, apt. 3), manager. Department of Party Propaganda, Agitation and Press of the Karelian Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. Arrested on August 28, 1936 in Petrozavodsk. Sentenced on December 23, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad under Art. 58-8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in prison and 5 years of disqualification with confiscation of property. In custody in Solovetsky prison. Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/14/1937 to VMN. Shot on November 1, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on February 11, 1958 by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
