Born in 1902 in Nesval, Kovno province; Lithuania. Head of the Dialectical Materialism Section of the Institute of Philosophy. In the summer of 1930, he served as the Institute’s acting director.   Arrested in March 1933. Sentenced on 16.04.1933 by the OGPU Collegium to 3 years in prison. In 1935 he was exiled to Ufa. Worked as the head of a sector of the Industrial Research Institute. Lived in Ufa. Arrested on 16.05.1936. Sentenced on 11.10.1936 by the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on charges of belonging to a Trotskyist-Zinoviev terrorist organization to capital punishment. Executed on 11.10.1936. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 03.12.1961.
