Born in 1899; member of the RCP(b). From 1918 in the Red Army, in 1918-1921 he served in the political department of the 11th Army. In 1923 he was sent to study at the Military-Political School in Tiflis. From 1926 - a student of the Military-Political Academy (VPA) in Leningrad. After graduating from the academy in 1930 - senior lecturer at the VPA in the department of dialectical and historical materialism with the rank of "political instructor of the regiment". Arrested on 23.08.1938. Sentenced on 05.06.1939 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to 8 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in Kolyma. In 1940 he worked as a putter in a copper ore mine in Verkhniy Seymchan. Died on 08.02.1941 in a camp hospital. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 01.09.1956.
