Genus. in 1898 in the village. Lychkivtsi Trabskaya parish. Oshmyansky u. Vilna province; Belarusian; from peasants; higher education; member of the CPSU (b) in 1919–1936. In 1918–1922 he served in the Red Army. Graduated from the Military-Political Academy named after. Tolmacheva in Leningrad (1926), worked as a teacher there. In 1932 he graduated from the Institute of Red Professors. Before his arrest, he was the senior head of the department of history of the peoples of the USSR at the Military-Political Academy named after. Tolmacheva, regimental commissar. Lived in Leningrad (Slutskogo str., 2, apt. 24). Arrested on July 15, 1936, accused of participating in the “K/R Trotskyist-Zinoviev organization that carried out <...> the murder of S.M. Kirov". Sentenced on December 26, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. 58-8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in prison. Imprisoned in the Solovetsky branch of the BBK, from June 1937 he was kept in the Savvatyevsky special detention center. Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 to VMN. Shot on November 2, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated March 23, 1957.
