She headed the correspondence department of the Legal Institute, which soon became the Leningrad branch of the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Soviet Law. For some time she was the party organizer of the cell. After Undrevich's arrest, she was transferred to the position of librarian at the Faculty of Law.

Arrested on November 16, 1937. By the verdict of the Visiting Session of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the USSR Armed Forces dated February 20, 1938, she was sentenced to 10 years in a labor camp with disqualification for 5 years. Following a protest from the Chairman of the USSR Supreme Court dated 02/08/1940, Kalinina’s case was sent for further investigation. By the verdict of the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces dated February 26, 1941, she was sentenced to 8 years in labor camp with disqualification for 5 years under Art. 19-58-8, 58-11. Re-arrested by the UMGB in the Kostroma region on February 29, 1949.


By decision of the OSO under the USSR Ministry of State Security dated April 2, 1949, she was exiled to a settlement.

In 1955, the case was sent to the Military Collegium to be terminated for lack of corpus delicti.
