Genus. in 1909 in the Mogilev province; Jew; Higher education: graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, majoring in geophysics engineer. In 1928 he lived in Leningrad and worked as a turner at the Bolshevik plant. Arrested 10/20/1928. OS KOGPU was sentenced to deportation for a period of 3 years. By the resolution of the OS KOGPU on April 15, 1929, the previous resolution was canceled and free residence in the country was allowed. 07/03/1937 arrested by UNKVD LO. Sentenced by the OS NKVD of the USSR on September 21, 1937 to 5 years in labor camp. He was held in Kolyma in the Dalstroy Ministry of Internal Affairs. Released in 1945. In 1948 he lived in Alma-Ata. Arrested on September 25, 1948 by the Ministry of State Security of the Kazakh SSR. Sentenced to OS under the USSR MGB on 04/02/1949 under Art. 58-10, 11 (according to the charges of 1937 as a “repeater”) to deportation to a special settlement in Norilsk. He worked as the head of the geophysical party of the geological department of the Norilsk plant. Released in 1955. From March 1957 to May 1961 he worked as the head of the Aerogravimetric Complex Geophysical Expedition, technical director and chief geophysicist of the expedition of the Kazakh Geophysical Trust. In May 1961 he was transferred to work at the Western Geophysical Trust. Rehabilitated in the 1928 case by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 02/01/1989; in the case of 1937 - by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 04/06/1956; in the case of 1948 - by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on January 10, 1957 and the Supreme Court of the Kazakh SSR.
