Belozerov Ivan Kondratievich

Born February 27, 1901 in St. Petersburg in a working class family, Russian, member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1917. In 1918-1921 in the Red Army, participated in the suppression of the Kronstadt Uprising. In 1922-1927 he was an employee of the district committee and the Leningrad provincial committee of the Komsomol. In 1928-1930 he worked at the Proletarskaya Pobeda factory: mechanic, assistant director. Graduated from the workers' faculty. From 1931 a student of the Leningrad Machine-Building Institute, graduated from the institute with a degree in forging and pressing equipment (1936). Lived in Leningrad (Rubinshteina St., Bldg. 23, Apt. 32). Worked as a designer at the Kirov Plant. Arrested November 1, 1936. Sentenced by the Special Collegium of the Leningrad Regional Court on 15.01.1938 to 25 years' imprisonment with confiscation of property and deprivation of rights for 5 years. By the determination of the Special Collegium of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated 20.09.1938, the sentence in the part of the conviction under Art. 58-7 was overturned and the case in this part was sent for a new trial, in part 58-10, part 1, to 10 years' imprisonment, the sentence was upheld. In custody in Kolyma. Rehabilitated in the 1938 case by the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR on 25.09.1956. Returned to Leningrad in 1956.
