After two years in the camps, in January 1940, she was released from prison, after which she was exiled to Kazakhstan, to the city of Kzyl-Orda. She returned to Leningrad after the war, thanks to the help of the Kzyl-Orda police, who issued a new passport without any restrictions on residence in large cities.
