Genus. in 1884; higher education – graduated from the University of Berlin; member of the RSDLP since 1898. Arrested in 1921 in Moscow at the Forward club. He was imprisoned in Butyrka prison. On the night of April 26, 1921, after a scene of mass brutal violence against prisoners by the Cheka, he was transferred to the Oryol prison. 06/26/1921 took part in an 8-day hunger strike of socialists and anarchists in the Oryol provincial prison. According to some reports, he was released in August 1921. However, in the lists of the Oryol prison, September 24, 1921 was still listed. In April 1923 he was imprisoned in Butyrka prison.
