Lezhnev Alexander Ivanovich (Mikhailovich)

Genus. in 1888 Art. Zotovskaya, Khopersky district, Tsaritsyn province; from the family of a rural teacher; Russian; higher education - graduated from the economics department in 1911. St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. In 1906–1910 he was a member of the student group of the Socialist Revolutionaries; he left in 1911. In 1905 he was arrested for reading illegal literature; in 1910 he was exiled to Vologda province. For 3 years. In 1912–1913 he studied in Paris. Arrested in 1921 on suspicion of participation in the Socialist Revolutionary organization, he remained in prison for 4 months. Arrested again on August 16, 1930; sentenced to Kogpu on April 25, 1931 under Art. 58-4, 58-7, 58-11 to the VMN, replaced by 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and exile of the family; served his sentence in Volgolag; released early 07/03/1935. From the end of December 1935 he worked as head of the planning and economic department of the White Sea-Baltic Combine, transferred to Volgostroy, where until June 1936 he worked as head of the planning department, until July 1937 - head of the Inspectorate under the head of construction. In 1938 he worked in Ustvymlag (Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Arrested 01/14/1938; sentenced by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on September 20, 1938 to VMN; shot 09/20/1938; burial place - Moscow region, Kommunarka. Rehabilitated in the 1930 case by the Supreme Military Command of the Urals Military District on July 20, 1956 and by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on June 22, 1963; in the case of 1938 - by the USSR Prosecutor's Office on February 28, 1990.
