Genus. in 1878 in the village of Gezati, Kutaisi province; Georgian; from peasants; lower education; member of the RSDLP(M) in 1897–1918. Arrested by the Tsar government in 1901, sentenced to 3 years of deportation to Arkhangelsk province, but the deportation did not take place, because was involved in the case of the July demonstration in Batum in 1903; in two cases he was released according to the 1904 manifesto. In 1912, as a Social Democrat, he was exiled to permanent settlement in Yeniseisk, from where he returned after the February Revolution. In 1918–1920 - member of the Central Committee of the SDLP of Georgia, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Soviets, the Constituent Assembly and the headquarters of the People's Guard of the Menshevik government of Georgia. Arrested on April 30, 1921, along with other Menshevik leaders, sent to Tiflis; sentenced on 07/05/1921 to 3 months in prison, was in correctional house No. 2 “Metekhi”; 12/16/1922, together with 52 other political prisoners, was sent to Moscow; in 1922–1926 he was in isolation wards in Yaroslavl and Suzdal. upon expiration of his term of imprisonment, he was deported to Central Asia (?), where until 1931 he worked as deputy manager of the Borjominvod warehouse. Arrested in 1931; sentenced by OS KOGPU on December 14, 1931 under Art. 58-4 to deprivation of the right to reside in the SKK and Transcaucasia with attachment to a specific place of residence for 3 years. Arrested 02/09/1933; sentenced to Kogpu on April 4, 1933 under Art. 58-4 to deprivation of the right to reside in Moscow and the Moscow region; By decree of the Kogpu dated June 10, 1933, residence in Moscow was allowed. In 1935 he lived in Georgia, worked as a warehouse manager for the Vinsovkhoz Trust of Georgia. Arrested 12/31/1935; sentenced by the OS NKVD of the USSR on May 20, 1936 under Art. 58-10 for deportation to Yoshkar-Ola MAO for 3 years. In 1937 he was in exile in the village. Koryakovo near Yoshkar-Ola (Mari Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Arrested 11/13/1937; sentenced by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on 02/08/1938 to VMN; shot 02/08/1938; burial place - Moscow region, Kommunarka. Rehabilitated in the 1931 case by the USSR Prosecutor General's Office on April 17, 1989; in the case of 1937 - by the USSR Prosecutor's Office on 04/20/1991
