Karasik Alexander Naumovich

Genus. in 1879 in St. Petersburg; Russian; higher education; member of the RSDLP(M) since 1899. Since 1901 he was repeatedly arrested and exiled. In 1921 he lived in Petrograd, worked as a legal adviser in the Office of the Petrograd Soviet. Local security officers characterized him as a “writer” and an “inactive” party worker. Arrested 03/05/1921, soon released. Arrested again in Petrograd on May 10, 1921. By resolution of the Petrogub Cheka of May 28, 1921, he was released on his own recognizance. In 1923 - assistant director of the Petrograd State Radiological Institute. Arrested 05/16/1923. Sentenced by the NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions on 07/06/1923 under Art. 63 and 73 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for deportation for 2 years. 07/06/1928 arrested and exiled to the Komi(?) Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1929 he lived in Leningrad, worked as a legal adviser in the Union of Metalworkers. Arrested 06/17/1929. Sentenced to OS at the Kogpu on August 16, 1929 under Art. 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to exile for 3 years. In 1932 he lived in Ust-Sysolsk, then in Arkhangelsk, from where he was expelled. In March - October 1933 he lived in Tambov. Rehabilitated in the 1929 case by the St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office. 12/13/1997.
