Genus. 02/17/1869 in the city of Cherikov, Mogilev province, in the family of a justice of the peace; Russian; incomplete higher education (Law Faculty of St. Petersburg University); in the revolutionary movement since 1891, member of the RSDLP(M); after the first Russian revolution - liquidator; after the Menshevik conference in August 1912, he was a member of the Menshevik OK; during the war, he was a defencist; In 1917 - member of the Executive Committee of the Petrograd Soviet, representative from the Council in the Central Food Committee; delegate of the First All-Russian Congress of Soviets, member of the Presidium of the agrarian section of the congress, member of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee and its Bureau, head. Economic Department, delegated by the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee to the Economic Council of the Provisional Government. Member of the Provisional Democratic Council of the Russian Republic. He was a member of the editorial board of a number of publications of the RSDLP. Since the December (extraordinary) congress - member of the Central Committee of the RSDLP. Arrested 01/10/1922; sentenced by the Board of the Cheka on January 11, 1922 to deportation to Ryazan for 2 years; 02/08/1924 sentenced by the USSR NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions for continuing “active work” to deportation to Kaluga for 2 years. By a resolution of the OS at the Kogpu dated February 19, 1924, due to an “irreconcilable position towards Soviet power,” the period of exile in Kaluga was extended for 3 years. By resolution of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR dated June 4, 1926, he was deprived of the right to reside in 6 central points and border provinces for the remaining period. In 1930 he lived in Moscow; Chief Economist of the Technical Council under the Committee of State Institutions; arrested 07/27/1930; sentenced to Kogpu on April 3, 1931 under Art. 58-10, 11 to 5 years in a concentration camp. At the end of May 1931 he was brought to the Verkhneuralsk political isolation ward. On 05/22/1935 he was sentenced to deportation after serving his sentence to Akmolinsk for 3 years. In 1937 he lived in Akmolinsk, worked as an economist and planner at the Akmola grain office of Kaztorg; arrested by the Akmola RO NKVD on May 25, 1937; sentenced by the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on 03/08/1938 to VMN; executed on 03/08/1938 in Alma-Ata. Rehabilitated on 05/30/1989: and also (in the 1938 case) by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 04/16/1998.
