Blagoveshchensky Ivan Alekseevich

Definition: Major General of the Coast Guard (1941). Member of the “Vlasov” movement, from December 1942 - editor of the newspaper “Zarya”, published by the Wehrmacht propaganda department for Soviet prisoners of war.
Years of life: 1893-1946
Reproduction methods:

05/06/1945 detained by American authorities in Marienbad, 06/03/1945 handed over to representatives of Soviet counterintelligence. Sentenced on August 1, 1946 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to death. Hanged in the courtyard of Butyrka prison.
