Agronomist. Invited to the Bystretsovsky educational and experimental state farm (Pskov region) as a teacher. On March 15-16, 1931, by a visiting session of the Leningrad Regional Court, he was sentenced under Article 111 of the Criminal Code to imprisonment for a term of 3 years to be served in a correctional labor camp. By a ruling of the Cassation Board of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated May 31, 1931, the verdict was overturned and the case was dismissed.
