Born on August 10, 1933 in Leningrad, into a Polish family. Father - Borodzyulya Adam Iosifovich, a doctor (arrested in 1937, executed on September 26, 1937 as part of the so-called “Polish operation” of the NKVD), mother Slovitskaya Alexandra Iosifovna, taught biology at a Polish school before her husband’s arrest. During the years of the blockade I.A. Borodzyulya studied at school in Leningrad. In the 1940s she studied at a children's art school on Tavricheskaya Street (in the Georgiy Ivanov Tower). In 1955 she graduated from the Leningrad Art and Graphic Pedagogical School. In 1963 she graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin, Faculty of Theory and History of Art. Since November 1963 she worked at the department of general painting of the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after. V. I. Mukhina. Author of a course of lectures and practical classes on the subject of color science. Since 2008 - Professor of the Department of General Painting at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Industry named after. A. L. Stieglitz. Artist, participant of 10 personal and collective exhibitions (from 1992 to 2014).
