After the start of the war, he was appointed chief of staff of the 3rd Guards Infantry Division. From 1915.06.10 - commander of the 87th Neishlot infantry regiment. 1916.10.22 enlisted in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Odessa Military District. From 1917.03.21 - chief of staff of the 7th Siberian Rifle Division, from 1917.07.30 - III Siberian AK. From September 24, 1917 – Major General. From 1918 - in the Red Army. In 1937 he lived in Leningrad, teaching tactics at the military department of the Industrial Institute. Arrested 03.11.1937; sentenced by the Commission of the NKVD and the USSR Prosecutor under Art. 58-6, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR 01/04/1938 to the VMN; shot in Leningrad on 01/08/1938. Rehabilitated by VT LVO 08/04/1958.
