Kashkin Konstantin Nikolaevich

Genus. in 1866 in Moscow in the family of a professor at the Moscow Conservatory; Russian; b/n; higher education: in 1888 he graduated from the mathematical faculty of Moscow University, in 1891 - St. Petersburg Institute of Railway Engineers. He served in the construction of a number of railways, incl. Siberian and Tashkent, in 1911-1912 - head of surveys for the Novosibirsk-Semipalatinsk line in 1913-1918 - chief engineer of the Society of Railway Branches. He taught at the Saratov Polytechnic Institute; since 1924 - head of the department of railway surveys at LIIPS. In 1930 he lived in Leningrad, professor at LIIPS. Arrested 11/21/1930; sentenced by KOGPU on 08/18/1931 under art. 58-7, 58-11, 58-14 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 10 years of labor camp. In conclusion - on the construction of BAM, the second tracks of the Trans-Siberian Railway. By a resolution of the KOGPU dated 05/08/1934, the conclusion was replaced by deportation to Kazakhstan for the remaining period. He died in Svobodny on 01/19/1939. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 03/01/1958.
