Born in 1934 in Leningrad. Lived with her parents in Leningrad (Slutskogo St., Building 2, Apt. 184). In 1937, after her parents were arrested, she was sent to   Baby House . From 1938, she was raised by her grandmother, a worker at the Leningrad Tobacco Factory. She was evacuated in 1941 to the Yaroslavl Region with the tobacco factory kindergarten, then ended up in the tobacco factory orphanage. Her grandmother died during the siege of Leningrad. After her mother was liberated in 1945, she moved to Magadan to be with her. She graduated from high school in 1951, moved to Leningrad, and studied at the Engineering and Economics Institute. She graduated from the correspondence department of the institute in 1971. She worked in the city's design institutes.
