Godes Roman Mikhailovich

Born in 1935 in Leningrad. After the arrest of his parents, he stayed with his brother with his mother's friends, then lived with his grandmother. After his grandmother was deported in 1938, he ended up in a special orphanage "for children of enemies of the people" in Strelna. In July 1941, he was evacuated with the orphanage to the Yaroslavl region. Since 1946, he began to correspond with his mother, who was in prison. In 1947, he came to his mother in Kyiv, after she was deported from Kyiv in 1951, he moved to Boguslav, finished school. In 1953, he returned to Leningrad. After graduating from the Electrotechnical Institute of Railway Transport in 1958, he worked at the Lengiprotrans design institute, and since 1963 - at the design institute of aviation instrument making.
