Genus. in 1896. Studied at the Petrograd and Don Polytechnic Institutes. In 1922-1928. worked as chief engineer of an electrovacuum plant in Leningrad. In 1928-1936. headed the vacuum laboratories, in 1936-1938 - chief engineer of the Svetlana plant. In October 1937, he was removed from the post of chief engineer and transferred to the designers of the Industrial Vacuum Laboratory (Leningrad). Arrested at the beginning of 1938. Until the second half of 1939 he was in prison.
