Gott-Gart (Gottgard) Sergei Iosifovich
Author of the letter to Stalin I.V. on criminal methods of investigation in the Leningrad Directorate of the GUGB NKVD (1938)
Genus. in 1894 in Moscow; in 1913 he graduated from technical school in Tver; member of the RCP(b) since 1919 . In 1915-1918 - in the army, then voluntarily joined the Red Army, and from 1920 he studied at higher cavalry courses in Petrograd. On 10/01/1926 he was discharged from the army of his own free will. Lived in Leningrad. In 1926-1928 he worked at Gipromez, in 1928-1930 - at the plant named after. Engels. In 1930-1933 - student at the Industrial Academy. Upon completion, he was sent to Chelyabinsk. In 1933–1935 - head of the special department of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. From July 1935 again in Leningrad. Worked at the Promet plant. In November-December 1937 he was mobilized to the operative sector of the UNKVD Leningrad Region , and on June 08, 1938 he was sent for investigative work to the UNKVD Leningrad Region (12th department of the 3rd department). 06/18/1938 wrote a letter to Stalin I.V. about criminal methods of investigation practiced in the 3rd department of the NKVD LO. On June 22, 1938, he was expelled from the ranks of the CPSU (b), and on June 23, 1938, he was arrested. On 01/04/1939 the case was dismissed, on 01/05/1939 he was released. He worked as the head of the technical department and chief mechanic at the Lenenergo Central Repair Plant. Died in 1977.
