In 1924–1927. student of the workers' faculty (Elets, Oryol province). In 1927–1928 mechanic at the mechanical repair plant of the Leningradtextile trust. Since 1928, he was a student at the Leningrad Planning Institute (graduated in 1932). In 1932–1933 Head of the administrative and economic sector of the Leningrad Planning Institute. In 1933–1939 employee of the UNKVD-UNKGB, Leningrad. In 1939–1940 Head of the Special Department of the 44th Rifle Corps (Ukhta). In 1940–1946 Head of the Investigation Department of the Counterintelligence Department, Deputy Head of the Counterintelligence Department of the Leningrad NKGB. In 1946–1948 MGB officer in Yaroslavl. In 1948–1954 UMGB employee, deputy chief, head of the regional police department of Chelyabinsk. In 1954, he was dismissed from the Ministry of Internal Affairs due to illness. In 1957, materials discrediting him were transferred to the Special Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, whose decision was to dismiss him “based on facts discrediting the rank of the commanding staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.” In February 1958 he was expelled from the CPSU.
