Genus. in 1882. Student of the mechanical department of the Kharkov Institute of Technology. Presumably, he was fired from the institute in 1906 for participating in a student revolutionary meeting. Graduated from the St. Petersburg Technological Institute (1910). Teacher at SPTI (1913–1918), Don (1918–1919), North Caucasus (1919–1921) polytechnic institutes, Ekaterinodar Workers' Polytechnic. Since 1921 - at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic of Transport. Professor of the Leningrad Industrial College. Since 1927 - at the St. Petersburg Electrotechnical Institute: professor, head of the department of heat engineering, dean of the electrical power faculty (since 1937). At the same time, he is a teacher at the Moscow Institute of Correspondence Technical Education. Professor of the Leningrad Industrial Academy named after. Stalin. Member of the Leningrad City Council (since 1939). Author of 5 inventions and more than 60 publications, including 18 textbooks such as “Fundamentals of Thermodynamics”, “Internal Combustion Engines”, “Steam Engines”, “Mechanical Science”. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1940). Arrested in the early 1940s, died in custody.
