Finger Arnold (Otsup Alexander Mikhailovich)
Author of the book of memoirs "Son, Father and Five Mothers". Israel. 2005.
Born April 5, 1943. Lived in Kaskelen, Alma-Ata region, Kazakhstan. After his father was arrested in 1943 and his mother was subsequently arrested, he ended up in an orphanage in the village of Issyk, Enbekshikazakh district, in 1944 , where he was taken in to be raised by Otsup N.A. In 1948 , he was again taken to an orphanage in Alma-Ata, since Otsup N.A. was arrested for the second time. After her release, he was officially adopted under the name of Otsup Alexander Mikhailovich. In 1958, his adoptive mother died and her friends helped him. He graduated from the [Kyzylorda] hydromelioration technical school and was drafted into the army. In 1964, he received a letter from his father, who had been looking for him all these years. He learned his real name - Finger Aron (Arnold). In 1972 he went to live with his father and mother in Israel.
