Pundel Ksenia Davydovna
A native and resident of Radomysl district, Ukraine. She died in prison in Tomsk on February 8, 1942.
Born in 1871 in the village of Novosyolki, Potiyevskaya volost, Radomysl district, Kyiv province. Russian, no relation, citizen of the USSR, from a middle peasant family, individual farmer. Lived in the same village.
Arrested on July 6, 1941 , by the Radomysl Regional Branch of the NKGB. Charged under Article 54-10 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR: "anti-Soviet sentiment, conducting counter-revolutionary agitation among the collective farm masses against Soviet government measures, and expecting Hitler's arrival in Ukraine." She was transferred to Zhitomir Prison.
On September 12, 1941, she was delivered (evacuated) to Prison No. 3 of the Novosibirsk Regional Directorate of the NKVD in Tomsk. There are no documents in the prisoner's file indicating the investigation or the transfer of the case to court. On February 8, 1942, defendant Ksenia Davydovna Pundel died at the age of 71. The death certificate, signed by military medical examiner Professor E. A. Yakovleva of the TMI, lists the cause of death as "senile dementia."
Today, the village of Novosyolka (Novosіlka) is part of the Potiyevskaya rural community (gromada), Zhytomyr district, Zhytomyr region, Ukraine, geographic coordinates 50.658926° N, 28.943350° E.

City of Radomysl 6/VII 1941 I, authorized by the Radomysl MRO NKGB SERGEANT OF STATE SECURITY STEPANENKO, having examined the materials on the accusation against citizen Ksenia Davydovna PUNDEL, born in 1871, native and resident of the village of Novosyolki, Potievsky district, from the middle peasants, individual farmer, no registration, Russian, citizenship of the USSR, in the crimes provided for by Articles 54-10 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR, expressed in the fact that Ksenia Davydovna PUNDEL is anti-Soviet-minded, conducts counter-revolutionary agitation among the collective farm masses against the measures of the Soviet government, expects Hitler to come to Ukraine.
