Shamarin Andrey Vasilievich
Deputy Head of the NKVD Transport Department of the Tomsk Railway. Held leadership positions in the Novosibirsk Regional Directorate of the NKVD (March 1941 – January 1943). Head of the Kemerovo Regional Directorate of the NKVD of the USSR (1943–1948). From 1948, he was a member of the command staff of the Gulag Corrective Labor Camp.
Nationality: Russian. Born September 17, 1904; place of birth: Novosibirsk. Death: May 12, 1994, Sheremetyevo, Moscow Region.
He served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the OGPU, and the NKVD. He retired on January 16, 1954, and was promoted to Major General.
Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 03.1926.
In the Red Army since 24.12.1921.

RESOLUTION (on the selection of a preventive measure)
The village of Zyryanskoye, December 21 , 1942
I, Operative. Authorized representative of the Zyryansky RO NKVD for the Novosibirsk Region, State Security Sergeant BIRZHEVOY(?), having reviewed the material received by the Zyryansky RO NKVD regarding the criminal activity of Grigory Demidovich Lyachin, born in 1917, Russian by nationality, native of the village of Bogoslovka, Zyryansky District, Novosibirsk Region, from a kulak peasantry, was dispossessed and deported in 1931, and removed from the register of the NKVD commandant's office in 1940. Currently residing in the special settlement of Sukhoi Log, Yaransky Village Council, Zyryansky District, Novosibirsk Region, and working as a laborer in the Simanovsky logging site.
FOUND
Lyachin Grigory Demidovich is suspected of crimes under Articles 58-10, Part 2, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and taking into account that, while at liberty, he may abscond from the investigation and trial, and therefore, guided by Articles 146 and 158 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RSFSR,
RESOLVED:
Grigory Demidovich Lyachin shall be held in custody as a preventive measure for evading investigation and trial, and in accordance with Article 147 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RSFSR, the arrested person shall be notified of this by signing this resolution. In accordance with Article 160(?) of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RSFSR, a copy of this resolution shall be sent to the Prosecutor and transferred to the head of Prison No. 3 for inclusion in the prison file.
