The letter continues with a letter to her husband, M.N. Poloz, about his speech at the Central Executive Committee session, published in the newspaper, his upcoming birthday, the fact that it has already been a year since her arrest, her studies in mathematics and economics, her reading, obtaining paints and pencils, and her penchant for bright colors.

Myagkova about the results of the Chelyuskin epic, the pride of being a Soviet citizen and the importance of this event for the upbringing of children, about the desire to receive letters from her daughter, who is outside the city, about her regular studies in mathematics and the care and observation of flowers planted in the room, about playing tennis, about the endless darning of stockings, about the gradual wear and tear of clothes, and about the need for sewing material, about the rainy summer, about the blossoming matthiola bush, which smells like a whole flower garden, about the blossoming mignonette and growing tobacco, about lettuce and radishes, which are already being used for food.
