In 1918 - in Siberia, in Kolchak's army, commander of an armored train of the Separate Marine Rifle Brigade, captain of the ship "Destructive" of the Kama Flotilla, senior flag officer of the headquarters of its 3rd division with the rank of senior lieutenant, from August 1919 - division commander of the Ob-Irtysh flotilla . Arrested on March 12, 1920 in Tomsk. Sentenced by the special department of the Cheka of the 5th Army on March 13, 1920 on charges of punitive activities to imprisonment in a concentration camp until the end of the Civil War. But soon he entered service in the Black Sea Fleet, in 1921 - commander of the hydrographic vessel "Metel" on a polar expedition. For many years he participated in expeditions, including wintering ones, as a commander of several expedition ships, and with his work laid the foundation for the study of ice passability for ships of various types. He worked at the Institute for the Study of the North and at the Hydrological Institute in Leningrad, in 1934–1935 - ice captain of the icebreaker Ermak, which for the first time made the transition from Vladivostok to Leningrad in one navigation. 02/15/1935 The Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences approved him as a member of the Polar Commission of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1935 he lived in Leningrad. Worked as a hydrographer at the State Hydrological Institute; Researcher at the Directorate of the Main Northern Sea Route. Arrested 03/02/1935. Sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on 03/04/1935 as an ESR to deportation from Leningrad and deprivation of the right to reside in 15 settlements. In 1937 he lived in Omsk. He worked as deputy head of the Omsk Hydrographic Department of the State Emergency Service of the Russian Federation. Arrested 11/12/1937. Sentenced by the troika of the NKVD of the Omsk region on November 21, 1937 for “counter-revolutionary activities” as a “member of an officer-rebel organization” to VMN. Shot on November 23, 1937. Place of burial - Omsk. Rehabilitated in the 1937 case by the Presidium of the Omsk Regional Court on September 22, 1955; in the case of 1920 - by the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on May 31, 1997; in the case of 1935 - by the Leningrad Prosecutor's Office on September 19, 1989.
