Genus. in 1877 in Kharkov; higher education: graduated from the Academy of Arts (1910); b/p. Lived and worked in St. Petersburg-Petrograd-Leningrad: artist, drawing teacher at a commercial school, at a private school and at the Shidlovskaya kindergarten, then at the 35th Sovshkola. In the 1920s she was a member of the religious and philosophical circle of A.A. Meyer. In 1928 - an artist at the Svetoch factory; arrested on December 24, 1928 in the “Resurrection” case; sentenced by the Kogpu on July 22, 1929 to 3 years in a concentration camp; imprisoned in Solovki; in 1930, her sister N.N. Gippius turned to E.P. Peshkova for help in Pompolit; released early on December 24, 1931. After liberation she lived in Vyatka. During the Second World War, together with her sister N.N. Gippius, she was in a German concentration camp. Since 1945 she lived in Novgorod, worked as an artist at the Novgorod State Museum; 01/01/1953 dismissed from the “Artel of Disabled People on May 1”. She died in Novgorod in 1957.
