Born in 1882 in Odessa; from a family of merchants; Bulgarian; higher education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Deputy People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs of the USSR. Lived in Moscow, Khoromny Lane, Bldg. 2, Apt. 59. Arrested on 08.12.1938. Sentenced on 16.07.1941 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary terrorist organization to capital punishment. Executed on 16.10.1941. Place of burial: Moscow Region, Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 09.02.1957 .
