Genus. in 1880 in the city of Balta, Podolsk province; Jew; member of the RSDLP since 1903; member of the bureau of the “Group of Unity and Independence of Trade Unions”; printing worker. Arrested 5 times before the revolution. In total, he served about a year and a half in prison and 3 years in exile. After the February Revolution, he was elected to the executive committee of the Moscow Soviet and the Presidium of the Moscow Soviet, a member of the Central Committee of the RSDLP. Delegate to the Extraordinary Congress of the RSDLP in November 1917. In 1918 he was a member of the Samara organization of Social Democrats and joined Komuch. Participant of the Ufa Conference of 1918. In 1921 he worked in Moscow as head of the planning department of the Central Union. Arrested on November 7, 1921 in Moscow. In 1923 he worked at the Glavkhlopkom. In 1923–1924 he was in exile in Vyatka and in the town of Slobodsky, Vyatka province. According to some information, he was arrested in early or mid-1925, and was imprisoned in Tobolsk that same year. In October-November he was on the lists of Butyrka prison. In December 1926 he was in the Tagansk transit prison. He spent 3 years in solitary confinement in the Yaroslavl and Suzdal political isolation cells. In 1928 – in Kyzyl-Orda, he worked as an economist at the State Planning Committee. In 1929 - in Alma-Ata, he worked as a consultant at the Council of People's Commissars. 04/10/1931 sentenced by the OS at the Kogpu to deprivation of the right to reside in 12 points on the list and in Chita, the Omsk region of the IPO and the Nizhny Novgorod region with attachment to a specific place of residence for 3 years. In 1931–1935 he lived with a minus in Saratov, worked as a fuel economist in Kraiplan; arrested 02/16/1935; sentenced by the OS under the NKVD of the USSR on June 20, 1935 to deportation to Syktyvkar for 5 years; in 1936, by order of the OS NKVD of the USSR, he was transferred to Velsk for the remainder of his term. Arrested 06/24/1937; sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces in Arkhangelsk to military detention with confiscation of property; shot 04/21/1938; burial place is unknown. Rehabilitated in the 1925 case by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 29, 1992; in the 1937 case of the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces on 10/27/1960 and 09/20/1989.
