Born in 1898; graduated from the commercial school in 1918. In the early 1920s he was an actor, then worked as an administrator, organizer of tours, in particular, V.V. Mayakovsky's tour of the country. Organized literary evenings at the Moscow State University club and the Writers' Union. Opened a paid lecture hall at Moscow State University and attracted prominent scientists and cultural figures to participate in it. Promoted Mayakovsky's work, speaking with recollections about him. Author of the memoirs "Mayakovsky Travels Through the Union" (Moscow, 1963).
