Member of the Military Council of the Belarusian Military District, army commissar 2nd rank. Lived in Smolensk, in the district command house. Arrested 11/26/1937. Sentenced by the All-Russian Military Commission of the USSR on April 21, 1938, on charges of participation in a military-fascist conspiracy to VMN. Shot on April 21, 1938 in Moscow. Burial place - Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on July 28, 1956.
