Andreeva Nina Alexandrovna

Definition: Chemist-technologist, publicist, politician. She saw in Gorbachev’s “perestroika” a weapon for the destruction of the USSR. She became widely known on March 13, 1988 as the author of the article “I Can’t Compromise Principles,” declared by supporters of Gorbachev’s “perestroika” to be a manifesto of anti-perestroika forces in the USSR.
