Pannwitz Helmut von (German: Helmuth von Pannwitz)
Definition: German military leader, cavalryman, participant in the First and Second World Wars, SS Gruppenführer, Lieutenant General of the SS troops. In 1943, on instructions from the high command of the German army, he formed the collaborationist organization Cossack Stan, which he led until May 1945.
