Petrov-Karabanov Sergey Ivanovich

Genus. in 1903 in the city of Staraya Russa, Novgorod province; Russian; from peasants; lower education. He graduated from the parochial school in Petrograd and worked as a baker until 1916. In 1917–1919, he was an employee of the economic department of the Red Army. Before arrest without a specific occupation or place of residence. In 1921 he was sentenced under Art. 160 paragraph “g” of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, in 1923 – under Art. 180, in 1925 - under Art. 160 p. “g”; imprisoned in the Leningrad penitentiary colony. By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated March 24, 1928, he was sentenced under Art. 82, 59-3 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in a concentration camp. Imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp (arrived 06/03/1928 from Leningrad). Escaped. On November 4, 1932, the visiting session of the OGPU Collegium sentenced under Art. 59-3 to execution with replacement by 10 years in labor camp. 04/08/1935 sentenced by the Leningrad Regional Court under Art. 16-59-3 with the absorption of terms by previous sentences. He was placed in a punishment cell for 1 year and in a high-security convoy for a total period of 9 months. Participated in a riot in a cell on August 30, 1937, and was transferred to a punishment cell for 5 days. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on October 27, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic).
