Popov-Rebone Vladimir Ivanovich

Genus. in 1899 in Moscow; Estonian; secondary education, accountant; non-partisan. He served in the tsarist army as a volunteer, then in the Red Army, a Red Army soldier of the 1st Warsaw regiment. In the past we were convicted of “attempting to illegally cross the border.” Before his arrest, he was an accountant at the central base of the Mosoblpotrebsoyuz. Arrested 03/08/1934. By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated May 23, 1934, he was sentenced under Art. 58, 8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to death with replacement by 10 years of labor camp. In custody on Solovki (arrived on 06/07/1934), he was kept at the Kremlin camp. In August 1936, together with other prisoners (including his stepson A.E. Dyklop), he was accused of preparing for a group escape. He was kept in an isolation cell, and in May 1937 he was placed in a high-security convoy. 08/09/1937 the visiting session of the Supreme Court of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic under the BBK NKVD found the charge of escape unproven; sentenced under Art. 58-10 part I (“anti-Soviet agitation in the camp”) to 3 years of labor camp with the addition of the unserved term and loss of rights for 5 years. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on December 11, 1992 by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Karelia.
