Born in 1900. A native of the Osovets fortress, former Grodno province. Russian, b/p, higher education - Leningrad University in 1925. He worked as director of the Tashkent Astronomical Observatory. 02/08/1936 arrested by the NKVD in the Leningrad region. He was accused of being a member of the Leningrad counter-revolutionary group and, at the same time, a member of a counter-revolutionary organization uniting workers of astronomical institutions of the USSR. Resolution of the OS under the NKVD of the USSR dated May 20, 1936. sentenced to 5 years in labor camp. He served his sentence in UKHTPECHLAG, Chibyu. Released at the end of his term on June 13, 1939.
12/22/1957 Resolution of the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court Resolution of the OS under the NKVD of the USSR dated May 20, 1936. against Postoev was canceled and the case against him was terminated.
