Purtov Sergey Vasilievich
Born in 1946 in S. Marfovka , Primorsky District , Crimean Region; Russian; incomplete higher education. Lived in Leningrad. Worked as an electrical engineer. Arrested on 26.03.1971 by the Investigative Department of the UKGB for the Karaganda Region. Accused of anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda, creation of and participation in an anti-Soviet organization, preparation to commit a premeditated murder of government officials (Leningrad City Prosecutor Solovyov and City Court Chairman Ermakov). On 06.10.1971 he was sent by the Alma-Ata City Court for compulsory treatment in a special psychiatric hospital. He was held in the Leningrad special psychiatric hospital, and was treated with aminazine. In August 1972, he was sent to the Sychevka special psychiatric hospital (Smolensk Region). Transferred to the Alma-Ata special psychiatric hospital (Talgar).
