Head of the 2nd Directorate of the NKVD of the USSR, senior major of state security, since February 1943. - State Security Commissioner of the 3rd rank. In 1946-1951. - deputy Head of the 2nd Main Directorate (counterintelligence) of the USSR MGB. Arrested in 1951. In May 1953, he was released and appointed head of the control inspection to verify the execution of orders of the USSR Minister of Internal Affairs; in August of the same year he was arrested again. In 1956, the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces was sentenced to 8 years in labor camp. Amnestied in 1957. By decision of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation on February 4, 2003, rehabilitation was denied.
