Born in 1880 in Ryazan province, Zaraysk district, village of Nizhne-Plutalovo (village of Seltso). Graduated from the Ryazan Theological Seminary, the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, candidate of theology. Archpriest. Priest of churches in Leningrad and the region, after serving time in Kolyma he worked as an accountant in Kazan. Arrested on 28.12.1937. Convicted on 30.12.1937. By the NKVD troika of the Tatar ASSR for continuing anti-Soviet agitation using religious prejudices. Shot on 08.01.1938. Rehabilitated.
