Since 1933 - first hierarch of the renovationist Orthodox churches in the USSR. In 1944, he repented and was accepted into church communion with the rank of bishop, which he had before joining Renovationism. In 1944 he was elevated to the rank of archbishop. From July 1944 - Archbishop of Tula and Belevsky, from 1946 - Archbishop of Dmitrovsky. Died 03/25/1950 in Moscow.
