Genus. 08/25/1988 (according to other data, 12/25/1888 or 08/02/1889) in the village. Old Mostyak Khvalynsky district. Saratov province; Tatar (in OGPU materials: Bashkir); secondary education; ex. Left Social Revolutionary; member of the CPSU (b) in 1919–1928. He studied at the Kazan Tatar Teachers' School (1907–08). Author of poems collections, plays, stories; translations from Russian and Western European languages. First publication in 1908. Worked as a teacher in zemstvo schools. Sarashi and Sultanovo, Penza province. (Bardymsky district, Perm region); from 1915 he headed the department in the city. library of Ufa. In 1917–18, he was an employee of the newspapers “Auyl Khalky” and “Kuresh”. In 1919–22, representative of the People's Commissariat for Nationalities of the RSFSR in the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1923, member of the board and head. department of the People's Commissariat of Education of the BASSR; in 1925 - director of the Ufa Art Museum; in 1926 – translator for the People's Commissariat of Foreign Affairs of the RSFSR in Turkey; in 1927 - head (director) of the Bashkir Music and Theater College in Ufa. In 1926 he was expelled from the party, then reinstated. Arrested on June 2, 1927 in Moscow, accused of having connections with “the leader of the Tatar bourgeois emigration Z. Validi”; After some time, he was released in exchange for agreement to “cooperate” with the authorities. Arrested for the second time in Ufa on 02/28/1929 in the case of the “Sultan-Galiyevsky k/r nationalist organization”. Sentenced by a resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated July 28, 1930 under Art. 58-4, 6, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to be executed. By resolution of the Kogpu dated January 8, 1931, the sentence was annulled; by resolution of January 13, 1931, he was sentenced to 10 years in a concentration camp. In custody in the Solovetsky camp, then in the Solovetsky prison. Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 to VMN. Shot on October 27, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on 03/08/1958 by a ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
