Ugrimov Alexander Alexandrovich
Genus. in 1906 in Lezavan, Switzerland. In 1922, he and his parents went abroad. Until 1929 he lived with his family in Germany, where he received a higher agricultural education. Then he lived in France. In 1930 “he was involved in a/sov. organization “Young Russians” and until 1936 was engaged in anti-Soviet activities among emigrants.” In 1942, he organized a partisan detachment on French territory, for which he was awarded the French Order. After the liberation of Paris, he organized the pro-Soviet organization “Commonwealth of Russian Emigrants.” In 1948, he arrived with his family from France to the USSR and accepted Soviet citizenship. Before his arrest he worked as a deputy. chief engineer of the Saratov flour mill. 06/19/1948 arrested by the USSR MGB and charged under Art. 58-4 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, in involvement in the anti-Soviet organization “Young Russians” in France. On November 13, 1948, the OS at the USSR MGB was sentenced to 10 years in labor camp, with confiscation of property. 08/05/1954 The Central Commission for the Review of Cases of Persons Convicted for Criminal Activities terminated the case. Released from custody, confiscated property returned.
