Since 1918, professor at the Petrovsky Agricultural Academy. In 1919 he headed the Higher Seminary of Agricultural Economics and Policy, which was transformed in the same year into the Research Institute of Agricultural Economics. In 1921-1923 - member of the board of the People's Commissariat of Agriculture of the RSFSR and its representative in the State Planning Committee of the RSFSR. In 1926 he was accused of petty-bourgeoisism and an anti-Marxist interpretation of the essence of peasant farming. In 1930 he was arrested in the case of the so-called “Labor Peasant Party”. Shot in 1937. Rehabilitated in 1987.
