Arrested in the "Resurrection" case on December 24, 1928. Sentenced to the Kogpu on July 22, 1929 under Art. 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years SLON. By decree of the Kogpu dated February 23, 1930, due to health reasons, the conclusion was replaced by deportation to Kazakhstan for the remaining term. In exile in Kustanay. Released from exile on July 22, 1934. In 1936-1937, due to the ban on living in large cities, he lived in Saransk, worked at the Mordovian State Pedagogical Institute, in 1937-1945 he lived at the station. Savelovo in the Kalinin region, worked as a teacher at school No. 14. Rehabilitated by the Leningrad City Court on May 30, 1967.
