Chertkov David Kusielevich (Kusielevich) (Dmitry Konstantinovich)

Genus. in 1885 in Vitebsk; Jew; education: graduated from the Vitebsk city college; journalist; member of the Bund. In 1917 he was chairman of the Saratov City Duma. In 1920–1921 he was repeatedly arrested for participation in the Bund, in particular, he was arrested on September 20, 1920 on the basis of an order from the Cheka to combat counter-revolution and speculation of the Union of Communes of the Northern Region; Released on September 24, 1920 by order of the PetroChK. In 1921 he lived in Petrograd, worked as a lecturer on political clubs of the Provincial Political Education; arrested 02/25/1921; no charges were brought during the preliminary investigation, no evidence of guilt in committing any crime was obtained; by decree of the Presidium of the PetroGubChK of 05/04/1921 (according to other sources - 06/07/1921) he was released until a special order of the Cheka, there was no decision on this case. He was again arrested on 10/31/1921 on the basis of a warrant of the PChK, released by order of the PChK on 11/10/1921 under a written undertaking not to leave. In 1938 he lived in Leningrad, worked as a history teacher at a school for adults at the Skorokhod factory; arrested 11/26/1938 on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary Bundist organization and conducting anti-Soviet agitation; on July 21, 1938, he was sentenced to 8 years in labor camp under the NKVD of the USSR. He died in Leningrad in 1957. He was rehabilitated in the case of 1921 by the Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg on 10/09/1998; in the case of 1938 - by the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court on 06/29/1957.
