Sverchkov Dmitry Fedorovich
Born in 1882 in the village of Taly, Bogucharsky district, Voronezh province, in the family of an officer; from the nobility; Russian; incomplete higher education; studied at the universities of St. Petersburg and London; from 1899 a member of the "St. Petersburg Union of Struggle for the Emancipation of the Working Class"; from 1903 a member of the RSDLP(b); due to disagreements with the Bolsheviks during the revolution of 1905-1907, he joined the RSDLP(m), from 1920 a member of the RCP(b). In 1937 he lived in Moscow, Novaya Basmannaya st., bldg. 4, apt. 72. He worked as deputy director of the Literary Institute. Arrested on 11 August 1937. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR on 21 April 1938 on charges of participating in a right-wing counter-revolutionary terrorist organization to capital punishment. Shot on 21.04.1938, burial place – Moscow, Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 07.07.1956.
